Volvo moves ahead of BMW and Audi in the UK leasing market
Swedish car manufacturer Volvo is now the third largest when it comes to personal leasing in the UK in 2019, according to Leasing.com.
Volvo has now generated more enquiries through Leasing.com than rival companies Audi and BMW, and it now sits in third on the list behind Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen so far this year.
This is great news for the manufacturer who is having quite a year after, they also recently launched their first online car buying service.

The UK is now Volvo’s largest European market, and the company’s third largest in the world after China and the US.
This year has also seen leasing become Volvo’s fastest growing form of finance as personal leasing now makes up 15% of overall sales in the UK.
There is plenty of demand in this country for the manufacturer’s SUV range, however, their most popular model to lease is the S90.

When it comes to the top ten leasing manufacturers in the UK, Mercedes-Benz leads the way, with their A-Class being the most enquired about model ahead of the Volkswagen Golf.
“The dependable Volkswagen Golf has been the most popular personal lease car for many years,” continued Harrison, “but it looks as if the tech-laden Mercedes-Benz A-Class could steal its crown this year.”
