Here at Spidersnet we recently put a new Elite Caravan website live for our new customer Adventure Leisure Vehicles. We’re extremely pleased with this site, and we feel it’s shows off this fantastic customer’s great stock in a very simple yet effective manner.
This stylish site makes use of nice imagery, a clean layout, and subtle hover-over effects to offer users an easy, enjoyable browsing experience.
Who are Adventure Leisure Vehicles?
Brand new Spidersnet customer Adventure Leisure Vehicles are based in Tebay, Cumbria and have been in business since the mid 00s. Starting off trading in stylish American Airstream travel trailers the team at Adventure Leisure Vehicles would import and fit out these lovely models before selling them on to happy customers.
Over the years their approach has changed, and they diversified and began selling German caravans from big name brands like Hymer, Eriba, Knaus and T@B. As time passed, the team also began offering servicing and are now an NCC (National Caravan Council) ‘Approved Workshop’.
Today Adventure Leisure Vehicles has a vast array of great stock on offer, including both new and used motorhomes and caravans from brands such as Eriba, HymerCar, Knaus, Kaiser, and of course, their super-slick, pre-loved Airstreams.
“We wanted to be able to have more control over the content and update our site as and when we needed.”
Rich Parker, Adventure Leisure Vehicles
We recently put their brand new Spidersnet Elite website live, and spoke to Rick Parker from Adventure Leisure Vehicles about his experiences with Spidersnet.
“We weren’t happy with our previous website’s functionality,” says Rick, “some of our feeds weren’t working properly and the site was also hard to update and didn’t do everything we wanted it to do. We wanted to be able to have more control over the content and update our site as and when we needed.”
After speaking to Adam here at Spidersnet, the team at Adventure Leisure Vehicles browsed our selection of sites. Rick continues: “We looked at your other clients’ and customers’ websites and they were clean and tidy and looked aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We also checked the testimonials and there were plenty of happy customers.”
It wasn’t long after then that Rick and his team sent us their brief and allowed us to get to work building their brand new website.
“We wanted our new website to be able to display more stock, and have a site that was clean and fresh and easy for customers to find what they were looking for straight away.
“We didn’t want our customers to have to spend time searching through hundreds of menus like they had to do on our old site. Now, with our new Spidersnet site it’s easy, if a customer wants a caravan, they’ve got a caravan.”
“If ever there’s a problem you answer the phone straight away, and I don’t have to wait a week to get things sorted. I know that you’re working on it straight away, which is reassuring.”

The build process
Here at Spidersnet HQ our designers and onboarding team worked closely with Adventure Leisure Vehicles to make sure we helped them every step of the way, and in the end, we created a website that both the team here at Spidersnet, and Rick, were very pleased with.
We asked Rick about the onboarding process and he had this to say: “It was really easy. We were pushed for time as we wanted to get our new site live as soon as possible, which we were able to do with ease, so all was fine.”
Spidersnet’s Client Services Manager Emma Stevenson, who has worked closely with Adventure Leisure Vehicles, had this to say about the site: “A website is your company’s first digital impression and at Spidersnet we want to make sure that we provide a great first impression for all of our customers.”
“I feel that this site showcases Adventure Leisure’s business and the ease of use for their customers stands out. Usability is key for a successful website in order to attract more customers and ensure those customers have a great experience. We’re excited to watch this website grow and look forward to working closely with Rick and his team in 2018.”
And was Rick happy with his service? When asked about whether he would recommend Spidersnet to other businesses he had this to say: “Of course I would. It was really easy. If ever there’s a problem you answer the phone straight away, and I don’t have to wait a week to get things sorted. I know that you’re working on it straight away, which is reassuring.”
We wanted to take this chance to wish Rick and the team at Adventure Leisure Vehicles luck for the future. We are very much looking forward to watching this site grow and develop and are excited about working closely with Adventure Leisure Vehicles into 2018 and beyond.
