Katie Balkham – General Manager

Katie has been with the Friday Media Group for over 11 years and boasts a CV that includes increasing both market share and revenue for some of the leading classified sites in the UK such as Caravan Selecta, Farming Ads and Friday Motors.

Since moving across to head up Spidersnet in March 2010 Katie has been instrumental in pushing the business forward and is constantly looking at ways to improve Spidersnet’s offering to our customers.
Katie is a very enthusiastic and hands on General Manager who has an unbelievable work ethic which filters through to the rest of the team.

Ash Hitchcock – Online Development Manager

Joined the company in 2005, after graduating from the University of Brighton.

Ashley’s famous mantra is ‘Anything is possible in web design’ and this is used to our customers benefit at every turn, from developing our mobile friendly websites to constantly researching the newest innovations in web design.

We also have SEO professionals within the team, they constantly draw on this qualification, expertise & experience to ensure the site we design for you is highly optimised and ranks well on all the major search engines

As well as the recognised credentials in web design & optimisation, the whole team are ‘Petrol Heads’. Which we believe is an understated qualification when building websites for the Motor industry.

Raphael Millin – Sales Manager

Raph joined Spidersnet back in 2007, adding a new dimension to the Spidersnet team. His likeable character and ability to communicate with customers at all levels has helped him become one of leading sales performers in the Friday Media Group.

His role to build relationships with Motor dealers across the UK has been very sucessful, adding many dealers to Spidersnet’s ever growing client base. Raph’s previous motor trade experience in both the franchise and ‘Prestige Sector’ as a Sales Advisor for a local dealership has stood him in good stead with the dealers who specialise in those fields. He understands the meaning of delivering the right product at the right time.

The internet is an ever evolving medium and Raph likes to keep up with all the latest technology and pass those benefits to his dealers helping them to improve their business. Customer care is high on his list of attributes.

In his spare time he is a keen follower of Everton (please don’t let this put you off) and an active player for a local football team.

Jo Wood – Account Manager

Jo joined Spidersnet in 2008. Her experience was the perfect fit for the Account Manager role that she now fulfils with tremendous success. We know that dealers prefer their Account Managers to have ‘hands on’ experience. Jo’s career has spanned across Citroen & Nissan franchises in both new and used, car and commercial vehicle sales. She utilised this experience and moved on to sell local press and online advertising to the motor trade. Both of these were high pressure environments with demanding deadlines, and have laid the foundations for Jo to advise our dealers on the best solution for their own website and promotional campaigns.

In 2010 due to her exceptional performance, Jo was chosen over 187 eligible sales staff to represent the Friday-Ad media group in South Africa. She had a great time, experiencing the sights and exchanging knowledge with employees of ‘Junk Mail’, a media group whom we have formed a great relationship with.

Jo is a very active member of the team, with a real eye for detail which her clients benefit from. In the office Jo is a very busy character, and gets the very best from the designers to meet the demanding requirements for her clients.

Simon Berry – Account Manager

Our newest recruit! Simon has joined the Spidersnet Sales Team coming from a sales background for the last 7 years. Previously a colleague of Raph’s in the motor trade, he jumped at the chance to come to work with Spidersnet.

A Brighton University Design & Technology graduate and with petrol coursing his veins the motor trade grabbed him as a young upstart in the industry. He quickly developed his skills and progressed to Senior Sales and Business Manager in the Franchise and Prestige motor trade sectors. Before moving on to become an Area Sales Manager for the UK’s leading Automotive Aftermarket Auto Electrical Distribution Company. This has given him a broad knowledge of B2B and customer facing roles, enabling him to put himself in the place of his client to understand their needs whilst maintaining the highest business standards of customer service.

Simon is part of the “social media” generation so is up to date with all the must have gizmos, gadgets and social networks. His ability to teach not preach what our products will do for your business will make him a valued member of the team.

Apart from his obvious love for motorsport, there’s always something else…. Simon’s kryptonite is golf! Currently a 10 handicap, we’ll just see how much time he gets to “spoil a good walk”.

Amanda Joined the company in 1997

We will assist you in all aspects of your new or existing website, from Design to Development & Stock broadcasting.

My team and I take pride in providing the highest possible levels of customer service, the most important element of our role!

We also provide general client support, which include organising feeds to 3rd parties i.e, Autotrader, Friday-Ad, E-bay to name but a few. All you need to do is call or e-mail us and we will take care of the rest.

Spidersnet is all about giving the Dealer control of their website so you can update your stock & offers hourly it is entirely up to you, if you’d like to discuss any changes you’d like to make to your website we will be happy to advise and then book the task with our team of Designers. We can also offer training of our system to new members of your team, our system AUTOPROMOTOR is very user friendly, we can talk you through how to add a vehicle in just 10 minutes.
